KATRA jewelry is a journey into color, texture, and story, where natural gemstones are the medium and the core of every piece we create. At KATRA, I see stone as a medium, a million-year-old memory, a talisman, transformed into a modern form.
Every jewelry object I create is inspired by nature, history and art: the warmth of a distant shore, the light of a forest at dusk, or the stillness of a stone wall, a celestial object, or a painting, or myth that resonates. I create jewelry that allows to carry a piece of earth, an artifact reminiscent of the ancient culture, and one’s own story.

PROCESS
My studio is a sanctuary of hand-selected materials chosen for their individual character — the way a carnelian mimics a fire or an agate reminds of a celestial object. It is a place where material itself can dictate the design.
Prototyping and handcrafting
Dialogue with Stone
My work is a dialogue. I use sketching and drafting to find the exact recipe that protects and honors the stone, but also tells its story. Or conversely, a story takes shape in stone. Its the weight and texture that makes a piece feel alive against the skin.
As an artist, I take pride in the entire journey of the piece. I designed my packaging with the same care as the jewelry itself. From my hands in Oslo to yours, I ensure the experience is as substantial as the artefact within.
The Signature Mark
I believe in the integrity of the finish. Every piece is crowned with my custom KATRA tag, engraving, or a hand-applied stamp. It is more than a logo; it is a seal of origin and a sign that your jewelry was built to last.
The Ceremony
In my studio stone takes form, receives a story and becomes truly special. I am constantly exploring new technology in stone processing. but also value hand-processing to expand versatility and uniqueness. In my jewelry you will meet both of the worlds. My jewelry is made to feel alive against the skin, talismanic and tactile.
